Knowing what visa to apply for will guarantee you a better chance of getting the visa that you want. Also having the proper documents for your intentions will help guarantee the visa approval. Below are some packages that you can choose from to start your process.

Non Settlement Visa

Tourist Visa

This is a temporary clearance to stay in a country for the amount of time given by the British Embassy Abroad. You must leave on or before the given date on your visa or it will jeopardize your future travel privileges to other or the same country that you have entered before. Tourist Visas allow you to stay for a period of 90 days depending on the officer and how long of a stay you asked for on the application. Depending on certain UK Embassies abroad there might be a waiting for period for an Embassy Interview date. Please contact your local UK Embassy to check on the waiting status or interview scheduling status so you know best when to apply for your Visa.

Settlement Visa

This visa allows you to migrate to the UK. The visa will allow you to go to the UK to stay with your family / spouse. It also allows you to work and travel freely with a Permanent Resident card and even allows you to apply for Citizenship after a certain amount of years.

Fiancé Visa

A fiance visa is a settlement visa, not a 6 month holiday visa and return. The consular must believe that you will marry and settle within 6 months. Usually, a written notice or reservation for a marraige date is required. You must prove the long and lasting relationship through this as well as photos, correspondances, and time spent together.

This visa is for fiancé of United Kingdom citizens and United Kingdom residents with settlement visas that wish to live in the United Kingdom. Fiancé visa grants entry to the United Kingdom for a period of six months, during which time they must marry their fiancé. If there are exceptional reasons for delaying marriage until after the initial six months, an extension to stay in the United Kingdom may be granted.

During this time a fiancé will not be permitted to work in the United Kingdom, and the fiancé must show that they are able to support their family for this time.

When the couples are married they may then apply for a marriage visa in the United Kingdom. Only once the United Kingdom marriage visa is granted the person will be eligible to work. The United Kingdom marriage visa process will take approximately 2 to 6 months.

Marriage Visa

This visa is for Spouses of United Kingdom citizens and United Kingdom residents with settlement visas that wish to live in the United Kingdom. Initially a visa will be granted for 12 to 24 months. At the end of this time, if the marriage subsists, you can apply to extend this visa. After a total period of three years in the United Kingdom, a candidate may then apply for United Kingdom nationality.

New rules for Spouses of United Kingdom citizens and United Kingdom residents with settlement visas have been recently implemented. These rules can allow people to apply for a permanent residency visa if you have been married for 48 months and residing outside the United Kingdom.

UK Marriage visa holders can work without restriction upon entry to the United Kingdom. There are some basic requirements of the visa you must satisfy if you are to be considered for the UK marriage visa to the United Kingdom.
