Our Process

The First Step

Our process starts with a call to our office where our team will collect some very general information about the nature of your matter so that we can make an initial assessment about whether the proposed matter is within the areas of legal assistance that we provide.

We believe so strongly that everyone should have the opportunity to make an informed decision about their planning that we have taken the approach that your initial consultation is without charge. Preparation For The Consultation

Our consultation is a thoughtful process that requires advanced preparation on our part in order to provide you with the most thorough and comprehensive consultation possible. We look forward to having the opportunity to review your information in advance and when we send you a confirmations letter, our Client Confidential Disclosure (CCD) will come with it. We ask that you either complete and return the CCD so that it is received no later than two (2) days prior to your consultation. There is an online option to complete the CCD, and you can find it under the Client Confidential Disclosure link on the right of this page. Be assured that Herr Law Group Staff will follow-up with you to make sure you understand the process.

The Consultation

We will be attentive as you share your needs, stories and concerns, treating our conversation with great respect and confidentiality. The agenda for the meeting includes discussions of your concerns and goals, how you will be taken care of, the status of your financial assets and accounts, and the chance for you to ask any questions of us. Our attorneys will then lay out for you several options and how the cost and benefit of each works. You can expect a thoughtful and thorough recommendation that will be based on your planning goals with complete clarity on pricing, so you can make an informed decision. You are under no obligation; however, if you choose to proceed with our recommended plan, it will be our honor to serve you. If you decide to proceed, then a date and time will be set to move forward in a reasonable timeframe.
